“Responsible gaming” refers to strict compliance with state laws and regulations while engaging in recreational activities that involve wagering, odds, and prizes. Through this, OKBet is able to generate jobs, promote tourism, and help in generating additional public revenue for government projects, on top of providing a safe and secure source of entertainment for Filipinos.

Individuals 21 years of age and above can play in the OKBet platform and betting stations. Players must create their own OKBet accounts and validate their identities through the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. 

The Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process is practiced to confirm if the players registering their accounts are using valid identities and are in fact eligible to engage in sports betting. This is done by presenting a valid ID to an authorized OKBet representative. Such steps are important in maintaining legal compliance and preventing illegal activities on the OKBet platform.

The following persons are NOT allowed to engage in online gambling: 

a. Public officials connected directly with the operation of the government or any of its agencies

b. Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police

c. Persons under 21 years of age or students of any school, college, or university in the country
