The Association of Independent Licensed Gaming and Amusement Operators Inc. (AILGAO) strives to unite gaming platforms across the country to deliver exceptional service to Filipino players. During the recent expo, OKBet had the honor of welcoming Alejandro Hipolito Tengco, Chairman and CEO of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). He then visited OKBet’s booth (No. 11), where the team presented the company’s offerings and engaged in a brief discussion about its current products and future initiatives. Afterward, Chairman Tengco toured other booths alongside AILGAO executives to explore more exhibits.

Chairman Tengco graced the expo with a compelling speech, highlighting how the rapid evolution of online and offline gaming has transformed the industry’s trajectory, creating a more dynamic and rewarding experience for Filipino players. “The last 2 years, clearly, and I will say this again, have shown that we in the electronic gaming sector have helped to put together a stronger industry, an industry that is growing rapidly and exponentially,” he stated.  Chairman also acknowledged the role of organizations like AILGAO in helping achieve their goals, emphasizing how such collaborations not only foster unity but also strengthen and enhance the industry as a whole.

Challenges faced before his leadership were also addressed, highlighting how the chairman implemented solutions to align companies within the industry. “When I assumed office, what I saw was the fact that the license fees were too high and without even hearing your sentiments, I thought and told myself the best way to invigorate the industry is to bring down those high rates” Tengco explained.

His leadership has paved the way for more sustainable growth, ensuring that companies within the gaming sector can thrive while providing better services to players. Chairman Tengco’s vision and initiatives have not only strengthened the industry but also set a benchmark for future advancements.

Each gaming platform had the opportunity to showcase their offerings and products. OKBet, represented by Assistant Manager Faye Jamin, led the team in introducing the platform at the expo.
