Like any other rising star in the business, OKBet is marked by humble beginnings that snowballed steadily into remarkable growth and development throughout the years of its existence; and we are very proud to share that with the entire world.
OKBet is the brainchild of Ekxinum Inc., which was established back in 2017. Our first base of operations opened its doors the same year and was located in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Subic, Zambales.
From our small team of hardworking and innovative minds in the fast-paced industry, the OKBet family quickly grew in size as the company worked on achieving its several milestones. Despite the multitude of challenges that emerged at the start of the new decade, we were able to power through each obstacle together and become stronger and more resilient, embodying the Filipino fighting spirit.
Even in the height of the global economic crisis in 2021 due to the then worsening COVID 19 pandemic, we were able to set up another office in Pasay City, a center of leisure and commerce in the National Capital Region, to house the operations of our ever-increasing number of employees.

In 2022, we were able to secure state accreditation from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) under the proud OKBet brand. As a trusted partner of the Philippine government, we actively take part in the promotion of regulated gaming in the country, as well as in public revenue generation efforts to fund the social welfare programs that millions of Filipinos enjoy.
The same year, we successfully launched the highly-anticipated OKBet platform for our users, following through on our promise to make our quality services even more accessible to the public and keep up with the growing demands of the market. Always compliant to the Know Your Customer (KYC) set of standards and the most effective data privacy protocols, we can assure safety and security in absolutely all transactions.
Shortly after this huge milestone, we made history once more by sealing a monumental deal with the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) as the official partner for its fourth regular season, as well as serving as the sponsor of three of the twenty-two competing teams, namely the Marikina Shoemasters, the Gensan Warriors, and the Sarangani Marlins.
Founded by former Philippine senator and world-renowned sports icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, the country’s top regional basketball league shares our commitment to support and empower home-grown athletes, especially in these trying times; and further give life to the rich competitive scene of a game ingrained in our culture and beloved by millions of Filipino fans.
As a physical testament to this shared goal, we collaborated with the very talented Tenement Visual Artists to create a massive mural in the iconic Tenement Famous Court in Taguig City. The basketball court, which drew worldwide attention in recent years, holds much value to the communities in the area, making it the perfect canvas for such a meaningful work of art.
We later launched our “Play It Forward” campaign, which aims to support the next generation of Filipino athletes. In partnership with the MPBL team GenSan Warriors, we kicked off this grassroots initiative with a youth basketball camp for Alternative Learning System (ALS) students of different elementary schools in Metro Manila.
This is only the start of several more programs lined up for the years to come. OKBet firmly believes that the Philippines is a country of world-class sportsmen. With this in mind, we will continue working with the government and other institutions to further promote sports as a lifestyle; and make sure that our hard working athletes will get the support that they deserve, so that their greatness can be properly showcased in the international scene.
Moving forward, we intend to explore more industries, create more opportunities, build more partnerships, and cater to the needs of more people. Beyond our nationwide aspirations, we plan to expand to other regions, like Europe and the United States of America, as an established and well-respected powerhouse in the global arena.
